The argument was that guardian players who had missed out in Legion were being denied access to a truly unique form, but feral players only missed out on a recolour. It’s been a while since Legion now, and Blizz responded to repeated requests from players to make the forms available again by creating a recolour of the werebear form (felbear) and making it available when the MT was re-released. The werebear was only available through the MT - you had to get it before the MT went away or it was lost ‘forever’. The owlcat form is the ‘hidden’ artifact form for feral, and is still available for any druid player to get. If you look at the artifact weapon pages for feral and guardian on Wowhead, you can see that they are mostly based on the same form with some minor variations and colour changes.ĭuring Legion, 2 unique forms were introduced that looked distinctly different from the others, and those were the owlcat and werebear.
